Whenever a potential customer looks through your catalog, it's going to be the photographs that hook their initial attention. Only then will they be drawn in to examine your products in more detail. Quite frankly you can have the best cheap catalog printing in the business, but with second-rate pictures, you're just throwing away your sales opportunities. The art of effective catalog photography is something that needs working at. A number of factors influence the end result and if you start out by bearing these in mind, you'll have a much better chance of success. You'll need plenty of time and a willingness to learn if you're going to become an expert in catalog photography yourself. An alternative is to commission a freelance photographer to do the work for you.
